Welcome to Triple Tiarra Tuesday challenge. This week's challenge was inspired by a technique called Black Magic courtesy of Splitcoast Stampers.

I took a few liberties with the technique since my white ink pad doesn't really work too well.  So instead, I embossed my gorgeous QKD grunge stamps and inked with Cosmic Shimmers.  Take a look:

If you would like to join in with this week's Triple Tiara Tuesday, jump over to the QKD blog for all the details and visit Jeanie and Holley for more inspiration. (Leave us some love and a link to your project so we can return the favor. *wink*)

The best news is that QKD will offer up a $25 stamp gift certificate for the players to compete for each month. So if you enter each week, you will have 4 chances to win the monthly prize of $25.

Good luck!

June Classes

I've been a busy bunny this month making up some classes.  Firstly, I'll share the classes I've done for Skrapz.  Caroline and Ann will be teaching this class at their crop on 4th June.  I just love the papers that I worked with - gorgeous Prima Madeline.  This first class has a little bit of cutting out and some masking - just love how it turned out.
I think my second class is  my favourite - mainly for this little collection of pieces.  More masking but this time with Glimmer Mist.  If you would like to know more about the class pop along to the Skrapz web site.

I'll be teaching a class, also on 4th June at the absolutely gorgeous Bubblyfunk shop in Worcester.  If you have not been to the shop yet - you don't know what you're missing.  The shop is so pretty.

I have created a pretty mini-book also with Prima papers.  This adorable book opens out to reveal photos and journalling.
We'll be creating the book from scratch and there will some stamping, sewing, inking and anything else I can cram into the time.  But don't worry - it will be suitable for everyone.

The class starts and 10.30 until 3pm with an hour for lunch (or more playing).  I can't wait!  If you want to book your place or find out more - be sure to visit the Bubblyfunk web site.

Thanks for popping in.  I'm sure I'll find some more lovely things to share soon.

Enjoy the Journey

For those of  you who have been to Disney before, you'll probably know the feeling of rushing from one ride to the next and standing in line.  I wish I had a penny for every queue I stood in waiting to meet a Princess or go on a ride.

Sometimes we just need to take our time along the way and appreciate our surroundings.  We took a visit to Busch Gardens for the first time.  It wasn't quite as busy as Disney so we were able to look around and enjoy the different areas.

We spent loads of time around the White Tiger enclosure. They really are fabulous animals.

i borrowed Julie's fabulous travel stamps (Unity) for this tag.  Love the airmail baker's twine.

BTW, if you haven't done so already, make sure you sign up for Pencil Lines newsletter.  I am on the newsletter DT along with the fabulous Larissa, Sue Mylde and Karen Shady - ooh what fab company!

I got to work with a lovely kit from Scrap Rat which included lovely Echo Park and Crate Paper goodies.

Here is a sneaky peak:

Well thanks for popping in. Catch up with you soon.
