I've been tagged!

Debbie Gaydos tagged me! She's on the DT over at Allyscraps.com

So here goes. It's a tag with a difference

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MY MIDDLE NAME?

Here are the rules:
1. You have to post the rules before you give your answers.
2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use your maiden name).
3. After you are tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and your answers.
4. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and that they need to read your blog for details.)

E – Evangelical (about scrapbooking)
l – love chocolate!
i – irritable when tired
z – Don’t sleep enough! (See i)
a – always in a hurry
b – Believe in life after death
e – eat too much
t – thoughtful (sometimes)
h – hot head

I would have the longest name in history! That was tough and I'm sure I cheated. (should have had a C in my name).

So I gotta tag 9 people!

Here goes (I'm not sure I know that many with a blog).

Audrey, Nikki, Dana, Kary, Julie Wilson (Scrapbook Sisters), Julie Corfield, Lauren, Shimelle, Iris

Man, that's tricky. I'm off to go tag a few people.

They're here!

All my kits did arrive at the same time. I've had a jam-packed kit from Allyscraps with dozens of pp. Lummy that is a lot of scrapping.

The next day my kit from Scrapbook Sisters arrived. It's their first one and it is gorgeous! My favourite manufacturer is in there - My Mind's Eye. You also get something to alter and some inks. Ooo lovely. Have already made a big dent into the kit.

So some stuff I did before being inundated.

The words are from the song She. Did this one just for fun. I wanted to make the flowers like fuscias (one of my favourites).

I found some gorgeous vellum that I wanted to turn into a window hanging. I've used some chipboard from Maya Road.

Don't tell Cathy over at Allyscraps but this little hanging thingy is on it's way. I originally planned to do a open/closed door hanger but got stuck on how to display the open/closed bit. LOL.

Anyway, quite pleased with how it turned out. I hope she likes it.

The other really exciting news is that we are starting our very own crop! I'm so thrilled that after hours of ringing around I have finally managed to get a hall at a reasonable price. So all we need to do now is drum up some interest.

First crop will be 17th February at Cheswick Green Village hall. Get in touch if you'd like to go - we'd love you to come!

Waiting for my kits to arrive

They're probably like buses. Nothing, then they turn up in 3's. LOL.

Kids have gone back to school so it' business as usual around here. A mountain of catching up to do, but I'm all done now.

Just a few LO's to share.

My years of training as a Scotsman's daughter has paid off. I can make a few scraps of paper go a very long way! I have managed to eek out a couple more LO's using some October Afternoon. I just love teal - it's such a great colour for so many things.

I was inspired by the Dell advert. Dell. Yours is here. I don't often use B&W but I could get used to it. Really changes the atmosphere of a photo. Other supplies - My Mind's Eye (are they just gorgeous), Prima (flowers), Autumn Leaves & Heidi Swapp.

Lolli had told anyone who would listen that Santa was bringing her a bike. She was a very good girl.

Papers - Autumn Leaves, Elsie. Stamps - October Afternoon, Rusty Pickle. Stickers - 7 Gypsies, K&Co.

Lastly, Jacob posing recently during a walk in the woods. He can be such a dude sometimes.

Happy Sunday

I have to share this with you. We went out for a long walk today with my brother and his wife over the fields near their home. It was really muddy but very peaceful.

We almost got back unscathed when Lauren fell over - covered head to foot in mud. The poor thing was distraught (so I didn't take a photo - I'll never make a journalist LOL).

So muddy boot cleaning for me.

I did this of Lolli when she wasn't quite so muddy. I felt a real urge to add lots of fairy stuff to a photo, but ended up with butterflies. I made the antenae out of wire and beads. Looks much prettier IRL - with sparkly Stickles. Stamps - Cavallini, AL.

I am having real fun with Teresa McFayden and the WinterBella e-zine. We've done an altered bingo card so far - well I've altered a book cover. I'm just looking for something to finish it off with.

I've used the Crackle paints in the corners to age even further. Managed to get a bit of grungeboard in there too (don't you just love Tim?)

Happy New Year!

So how are things? The new year going as planned?

I think I've been in the doldrums recently. I don't know why (probably hormones) or the aftermath of Christmas.

I had to go 3 days without scrapping which doesn't help. I think I must be addicted.

So let's see. I got a big catch up of LO's and things.

Lolli got this new Snow White dress from her Auntie Liz and Uncle Steve. I had popped out to get milk and bread and this is what greeted me when I got back. She really had been transformed! She is so in love with the dress that she wants to wear it every day.

LO for Allyscraps using My Mind's Eye papers.

I howled when Monique told me that Lauren had been telling everyone at school that I was having another baby. A baby girl to be precise. So congratulations all round!

Lastly, using my Story of My Own papers from December, I got this great shot of Pete and Lolli playing at the park over the holidays. They were laughing and teasing each other - I just love their interaction.

Did you notice that bit of grungeboard? It is sooo cool IRL.
