Merry Christmas!

Hope you had a good one! We did. Kids had a ton of toys as usual. Jacob got his guitar - looks pretty cool with it too. Lauren got her Bubble bike just like she asked - so they were happy. We also got a Wii - how much fun is that??!!! You've never seen such strange actions while trying to throw a ball or play tennis.

I got a ton of stuff to upload, will have to start with what I've got done so far.

This little mini-book was done for AllyScraps
using those gorgeous My Mind's Eye papers (again).

The book is based on the song by Mariah Carey - All I want for Christmas.

This is one of my most favourite things I've ever made. From a box of washing powerder, I created a case to store my Distress Inks. I just love how it turned out, although I suspect it's still a work in progress (I have crackle paint on order). I covered the box in my infamous music papers and vintage book papers. Then distressed further with ink and paint. The handle and knob are both 7 Gypsies.

I'll save some for another time. (Wait till you see Lolli!)

Ho Ho Ho

I'm getting into the Christmas spirit.

We went to the Magic of Christmas show today at the NEC. Ahhh, hundreds of beautiful Christmas trees covered in snow. Elves all over the place. A fairy who has to find the Christmas magic. Well I thought it was wonderful although the kids were still... is that it?

They had some beautiful little shops selling the most wonderful Christmas decorations - I could have bought them all. I'll have to show you the big bunny I brought home!

Playing catch up on loads of stuff that's taken me ages to edit.

We gave out the Christmas gifts to the teachers... clipboards for everyone.

These were so much fun to do. I used the all familiar trees, clouds and owls, but what the heck, I like 'em.

Been doing loads of lovely stuff over at Allyscraps. I have had a ball with my kit this month. The lovely My Mind's Eye is marvellous.

Even did one of Pete (don't feint).

I thought I did a great job with the photo too - looks kinda cool I think.

Unfortunately, my photos with Santa weren't quite so spectacular. The LO is pretty though. Have a little sparkle and bling here and there. The cute little gems are so gorgeous IRL.

Just a week or so to go...

Been busy busy busy with 2 kits - Scrapbook Sisters & Allyscraps. Bundled SS kit back to them today - mainly Christmas Decorations. Take a look at these.

They started off as a chipboard book. I've decoupaged papers on both sides. The letters for 'Peace' have been embossed several times with red glitter - they look gorgeous IRL.

Shame, but I seem to have lost the close up photos - I've got a bit haphazard with my flash cards. Tut Tut. It's also anooying because I don't have the images of the little book with a snowflake window and the layouts I did.

I did these for Karen & Julie to - little stockings. They are made from vintage music sheets. I've since adorned them with other little things but again, no photos. DOH.

I've had beautiful My Mind's Eye papers from
Allyscraps this month. They are just so gorgeous I could do 100 projects from them. However, I've done a couple so far...

Off to a crop tomorrow - yippeeee!!! I should really be able to make some fun things (although I'll probably just move paper around for a while).

Have a fun day!

December at last...

Yay, December is here and we're all getting excited about the big day.

The tree is up and looking pretty. I should think so too when it cost so much (sorry Pete). Hint: don't buy a tree with fake snow - it looks like dandruff everywhere.LOL.

I've had happy mail from Scrapbook Sisters. More Christmas projects underfoot. I don't know what I'll do when it's done. I also get to stay on their DT with Julie. Yippeeee!

I've also done something cute for Scrapbook Inspirations this week but I can't share (cos I'll have to shoot you).

After my little 5 minutes of fame over at 2 Peas, Lisa from Maya Road has been in touch. She wanted to display my little birdies on their blog too. I love birdies.

The lovely ladies at Pencil Lines sent me a RAK for my LO the other week. I did this LO using sketch 58 and the 3 Bugs kit. The 3 cuties are Jacob and lifelong friend Kiran and Lewis. It was Kiran's 2nd birthday - so cute. I love the way the title goes off the page - something I've done since.
